Then the dancing started. Toddy was baffled as the kids were using their left foot when he was using his right; then he realised that it was because he was facing them, so for the rest of the week he had to teach with his back to them.

Well, the kids loved the clog, especially all the stamping and kicking each other up the arse; and soon they were all pretty tired and sitting down again, but klogmeister Toddy wanted them to go through it again as they were just getting the hang of it. (He was just getting the hang of it?).

"Get 'em on their feet, Mick."

"Arrhemum AUFSTEHEN ! "

"Oh no" "Ach so."

And away they went again. They even managed to rant - although they missed a ‘tap’ out of each step, their feet banged on the floor in time; so it was OK.

Then it was time for lunch (which large as it was, turned out to be only the hors d'oeuvres). Everyone gathered in the staff room after yet another gut-bash (how do these Germans shovel it all away?), and then piled into der wagon and followed Siegmar (in his car) to the Roland Centre.
