The kids ranted their way up the corridor, much to the surprise of staff and pupils alike, who, nevertheless, gathered to watch the proceedings. Soon it was stuffy and crowded inside, conditions calling for the order "AUS", as everyone hurried to the doors and out onto the netball courts, before an ever increasing audience.
Rehearsals over, the kids were packed off home with firm instructions to be back nice and early.
"Don't worry", they all chorused, "we'll be here at 5:30!"
Then Len led our heroes down to the Roland Centre for a final attack on Bremen's cream cakes and beer; once again the waitress was stunned by the order: "Schneemoustorte and Bier", until the magic word was uttered' "Englanders", to which she gave the expected reply, "Ach So!".
This was followed by a shopping spree, during which various souvenirs were bought, primarily beer mugs, bottles, tea pot warmers, sausage and chocolates:
